On October 1, LUA International High School successfully launched its first online international collaborative lesson with Vasaskolan High School in Sweden, focusing on SDG 3: Good Health and Well-being.
Under the guidance of Ms. Ema Juchim from LUA International High School and Mr. Peter Perskull from Vasaskolan, students from Taiwan and Sweden actively participated in the session. Beyond listening to the main lecture, students worked in cross-national groups of three to discuss and exchange ideas about health and well-being.
Through these meaningful interactions, students not only deepened their understanding of global health issues but also developed valuable intercultural communication skills. They discovered that while students from different countries often share similar values, they also bring unique cultural perspectives to the same topic.
Principal Chiang expressed her appreciation for the collaboration, emphasizing that such international learning experiences help students broaden their global outlook and foster mutual understanding between cultures.
Many students shared that communicating directly with Swedish peers was inspiring and eye-opening, and they look forward to continuing their weekly discussions and shared learning journey.
