On April 25, 2026, Grade 10 students from LUYA International School attended the TASMUN 2026 Model United Nations conference held at Taipei American School. Conducted entirely in English, the conference provided students with an authentic experience of international dialogue through position statements, discussions, and negotiation.
Throughout the conference, students demonstrated strong communication skills and logical reasoning, articulating their perspectives clearly while engaging collaboratively with peers from other schools. Their performance reflected key IB Diploma Programme learner profile attributes, including being inquirers, communicators, open-minded, and reflective learners.
This experience allowed students to extend their classroom learning into a global context, further strengthening their international awareness and confidence as they prepare for the IB Diploma Programme.
