On September 22, 2025, our school welcomed three international Peace Fellows for a special Peace Education event. Through interactive workshops and discussions, students explored the meaning of peace from both local and global perspectives.

Former UN advisor Benjamin Abtan engaged upper elementary students in a dialogue on the keywords “woman/man,” “future,” and “fear.” Emma Baumhofer, a digital consultant from Switzerland and the U.S., introduced middle school students to the Digital Toolbox for Peacebuilding, highlighting the impact of online speech on peace and responsibility in the digital space. Meanwhile, Kefei Cao, Artistic Director of Nomadic Minutes in Berlin, used Theatre of the Oppressed to guide ninth graders and senior high school students in role-playing exercises that simulated conflict, cooperation, and reconciliation.

The event highlighted the importance of peace education-not only as the absence of conflict but as a way of life rooted in dialogue, respect, and understanding. These values strongly align with our school’s protocol of Respect, Self-Discipline, Perseverance, and Collaboration, showing students that peace begins with the very principles we practice every day on campus.
