During the 2025 Anniversary Sports Day, student leadership stood at the center of the celebration, demonstrating how IB values are transformed into meaningful action. Among the many contributors, three Grade 10 students—Lin Xin-Yun, Tseng You-Wei, and Yu Zhi-Xuan—were recognized as the House Leaders whose leadership and commitment became the driving force of the entire event.
Serving as House Leaders, these students took full ownership of their roles, leading the planning, coordination, and execution of House activities across all grade levels. From organizing House performances and guiding team preparation to coordinating competitions on the newly inaugurated football field, they demonstrated strong student agency and a deep sense of responsibility for their learning community.
Their leadership was especially evident in the way they fostered vertical collaboration. By supporting and empowering younger students, they created an inclusive and supportive environment where every House member felt valued and confident to participate. Through clear communication, encouragement, and positive role modeling, they embodied key IB Learner Profile attributes, including Communicators, Principled, Caring, and Balanced learners.
Beyond organizational skills, Lin Xin-Yun, Tseng You-Wei, and Yu Zhi-Xuan showed maturity, resilience, and empathy—qualities essential to effective leadership in both academic and real-world contexts. Their ability to lead by example transformed the Sports Day into more than a school event; it became an authentic learning experience rooted in collaboration, service, and shared success.
The school proudly commends these three House Leaders for their outstanding contribution. Their actions reflect the spirit of IB education, where leadership is not defined by position alone, but by initiative, responsibility, and the positive impact one has on others.
