To promote students’ healthy development and enhance water safety awareness, LUYA International High School is offering a swimming program this semester, held at the National Taiwan Sport University swimming pool.
The school stated that the purpose of the program is not only to encourage students to develop regular exercise habits but also to cultivate basic water self-rescue skills. During the lessons, instructors will guide students in becoming comfortable in the water, mastering fundamental techniques, and emphasizing safety rules to reduce the risk of accidents.
Through this program, LUYA International High School hopes to complement its summer Global Competence Program by introducing students to SDG 14 (Life Below Water), nurturing their ability to understand, cherish, and connect with the ocean.
