1. To reduce the examination burden on candidates and respond to society's expectations for the technical and vocational education admissions system, the Association is planning adjustments to the unified entrance examinations and admissions procedures for four technical and two vocational schools. To collect opinions and ensure that the system design is more in line with student needs, this public hearing is being held.
2. The core direction of this adjustment is to enable candidates to "independently select the number of subjects to take the unified test" based on their interests and expertise, and each recruiting school or department can customize the subjects to be taken. The main axis is a diversified talent selection mechanism. This includes the joint registration allocation being changed from the current "all five subjects" to "two to five subjects"; the number of subjects taken in the first stage of selection for admission will be adjusted from "one to five subjects" to "one to four subjects", and the upper limit of the admission quota screening ratio will be increased from "three times to four times".
3. A summary of the information regarding the public hearing is as follows. For detailed information and explanations of the examination and recruitment adjustments, please refer to the implementation plan.
