LUYA International School partnered with Techman Robot to host a collaborative robot workshop on campus, guiding students into the world of AI and smart technology. The event was led by Techman Robot engineers, who began by introducing the question “What is an AI robot?” and explained its key features-simplicity, safety, and intelligence-as well as its wide range of applications in industries such as manufacturing, healthcare, food processing, and automotive inspection.

During the workshop, students engaged in hands-on learning to master coordinate axis judgment, movement and point setting, and gripper control. They successfully completed multiple challenges, including dice pick-and-place tasks, flipping operations, and an advanced palletizing exercise. The session also featured fun demonstrations, such as “robots making takoyaki,” showing how technology can seamlessly integrate into everyday life.

Students shared that although operating the robotic arm felt unfamiliar at first, with practice they gradually gained confidence. They not only understood the concept of programmatic control but also developed logical thinking and problem-solving skills. This workshop was more than just a STEAM robotics class-it was an inspiring journey into the future of industry.
