Taoyuan LUYA International High School offers multiple admission pathways for the IBDP (IB Diploma Programme) for Academic Year 115, aligned with the Taoyuan Regional Enrollment Zone (桃連區) and the Hsinchu Guanxi Local Enrollment Area, providing diverse and comprehensive pathways for students from different backgrounds.

I.Direct Progression (From Junior High to Senior High within the School)

Eligibility: Graduating students from the school’s junior high division.

Description:
Students who meet the school’s internal criteria may directly progress to the IBDP class without taking the external special admission examination. This pathway ensures smooth curriculum continuity and full integration into the IBDP track.

 

II.Placement Admission (Taoyuan Zone / Hsinchu Guanxi Local Area)

Eligibility:

  • Graduating junior high students within the Taoyuan Regional Enrollment Zone (桃連區)
  • Graduating junior high students within the Hsinchu Guanxi Local Enrollment Area

Description:
Students may apply through the placement system based on their Comprehensive Assessment Program (CAP) results.

 

III. Special Admission (Nationwide)

Eligibility: Graduating junior high students nationwide.

Program: IB Diploma Programme (IBDP) Experimental Class

Description:

  • Applicants must take the school’s Special Admission Examination.
  • Examination subjects: Logical Reasoning Test and Text Analysis Test.
  • Minimum requirement: English in CAP at Level A (Advanced).
  • Admission is based on examination results and program preferences.

 

IV.International Students and Students from Hong Kong & Macau

(A) International Students

Basis: Regulations Governing the Admission of International Students by the Ministry of Education.

Quota: 5 students for Grade 10 in the IBDP.

Selection Process:

  • Document review (academic records and study plan): 50%
  • Interview in Chinese and English: 50%
  • Final approval by the Admissions Committee

(B) Students from Hong Kong and Macau

Eligibility: Students holding permanent residency in Hong Kong or Macau and meeting MOE regulations.
