In order to strengthen students' scientific concepts and inspire their interest in exploring biological sciences, Luya International Middle School organized a campus seedling activity. On the morning of May 8, 2015, we specially invited Professor Louis J. Ignarro, winner of the 1998 Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine, to give a speech to students.
Professor Louis J. Ignarro talked about his family background and his curiosity about everything during his youth. He encouraged students to take advantage of the various resources and opportunities provided by the school to find their own interests. Once they have an interest, they can explore it further, which may very likely become their major. They should always think about various possibilities. Achievements are sometimes high and sometimes low. Professor Louis J. Ignarro encouraged students not to lose confidence. Scientific research comes from the exploration of hypotheses. When experiments reveal that the hypothesis is wrong, although there are setbacks, on the other hand, one should be happy that one has found the answer.
